Nitika Pant Pai, MD, MPH, PhD, is an Associate Professor at McGill University in the Department of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology), and Research Scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre. Her global research program focuses on rapid point-of-care diagnostics for HIV and co-infections, specifically innovative digital solutions for HIV self-testing and multiplexed screening for sexually transmitted infections. She is currently developing sexual & reproductive health innovations for young women. She has received awards for research excellence in global health and for her innovations; in 2018 she was inducted into the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists.
