Neeru Gupta, PhD, is Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton, Canada). She obtained her PhD in Demography at Université de Montréal in 2000. She is a member of Health Systems Global and sits on the editorial board of the international journal “Human Resources for Health.” She has co-edited, co-authored or contributed to 20 official books and reports of the World Health Organization, World Bank, UNICEF and other United Nations agencies. Her research interests lie in issues of gender and social equity to support evidence-informed decisions towards the Quadruple Aim for healthcare improvement: healthy populations, sustainable healthcare investments, and better patient and provider experiences.
