Kelly James has 7 years of experience working in global health. Kelly’s focus has been on disability inclusion, practical research, and capacity development in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) projects in Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Mozambique.  In 2015, Kelly completed a Masters of Science in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. There, her work focused on assessing barriers and facilitators to accessing disability targeting social protection programs.  Kelly currently serves as a Knowledge and Research Advisor at the Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST). In this role she works closely with partner organizations from across West Africa, as well as Ethiopia and Kenya, to support monitoring, evaluation, and learning components of their WASH projects. In this role Kelly has also spent the past three years working with key sanitation actors across Africa to support the establishment and capacity development of a Pan-African professional association.
