Jenn Brenner is a pediatrician and clinical associate professor at the Cumming School of Medicine. She has a passion for global health, with expertise and experience in maternal, newborn, and child health programming. Over the past two decades, she has led numerous large implementation, research, and policy-related health and development projects in East Africa through university partnerships, including Healthy Child Uganda and Mama na Mtoto (Tanzania). Core academic interests and publications focus on integration of rigorous mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) metrics in implementation programming. Within Canada, she has held leadership positions within the Global Child Health Section of the Canadian Paediatric Society, and served as an expert advisor and reviewer including to the Council of Canadian Academies and  CANWaCH Metrics Working Group.
