Agenda 2030 - Sustainable Development GoalsMonday, April 2, 2018
"Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages."
Sustainable Development Goal number 3 includes targets and indicators directly related to health, including maternal and child mortality; AIDS, TB and malaria; non-communicable diseases; addiction; mental health; and traffic accidents. All of these issues impact on other SDGs, such as poverty reduction, education and economic growth. Conversely, meeting the other SDG targets -- including on clean water, climate action and food security -- impacts and determines health outcomes.
The SDGs for Health program aims to ignite the conversation around improving health and well-being worldwide, to 2030 and beyond.

Canadian leadership in global health: a work in progress
Canadian leadership in global health: sounds great, right? I’m told that the WHO considers Canada as a leader in its efforts to bring UHC to full realization for people all over the world. A tall order?
