Global Health in 2013: Are we Having an Impact?

The 20th annual Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH) took place Ottawa from October 27-29, 2013. The theme, Global Health in 2013: Are we having an impact? was intended to:

  1. Consider the impact of the Millennium Development Goals and the lessons learned from their implementation
  2. Review some of the areas in which the Millennium Development Goals were deficient
  3. Look ahead to the implementation of the United Nations Post 2015 Development Agenda and Canada’s role.

 

2012 Global Health in the Shifting World Economy

CSIH hosted the 19th annual Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH) in Ottawa from October 21-23, 2012. This theme, Global Health in the Shifting World Economy, considered the impact of globalization, the enormous economic changes in health funding, models and delivery on the health of the world's citizens,and explored innovative health care delivery systems to address these changes.
