Stéfanie Fréel is a global public health professional with experience working across non-governmental, governmental, multilateral and academic settings. She has worked on issues related to dementia, health equity, Indigenous health, and health technology at local, national and international levels. Amongst other organizations, Stéfanie has worked for the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in Canada. She has experience developing inter-sectoral policies and strategies at regional and global levels, leading complex strategic and operational projects across institutions and building multi-stakeholder partnerships. Stéfanie holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master in Global Affairs from the University of Toronto, Canada, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has published and presented on topics covering mental health policy, health system capacity building, knowledge translation and health information systems.
