Hani Rukh-E-Qamar is the Founder and Executive Director of the Canadian Advisory of Women Immigrants (CAWI), a community organization empowering immigrant women and girls across Canada. Hani completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Health Geography, and International Development Studies at McGill University, where she also worked as a Global Health Scholar. She is pursuing a Master of Science in Epidemiology at McGill University this year. Further, she is the Chair of the Youth Working Group at the Canadian Partnership for Women's and Children's Health (CanWaCH). Hani is passionate about health equity, social determinants of health, and the mental health of marginalized communities.
