Dr. Meredith Giuliani (MBBS, MEd, PhD, FRCPC) is the Director of Education and a radiation oncologist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre as well as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto. She received her MBBS qualification from the University of London, England and competed her residency training at the University of Toronto. She received her PhD from the School of Health Professions Education at Maastricht University. Her PhD focused on globalization effects in higher education and the influence of neocolonialism on global curricula. She has an active research program focused on globalization and neocolonialism in health professions education, the influence of education on the health system and the intersection of education and health disparities. Dr Giuliani leads several international enrichment programs focused on advancing leadership training in oncology and ensuring equitable access to this training.
