Kalysha Closson is a PhD Candidate in the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on understanding gender inequity and its role in the sexual and reproductive health and rights of youth in global contexts including South Africa and India. Kalysha is a Vanier Canadian Graduate Scholar and part of UBC's Public Scholars Initiative.
