Global Health in 2013: Are we Having an Impact?

The 20th annual Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH) took place Ottawa from October 27-29, 2013. The theme, Global Health in 2013: Are we having an impact? was intended to:

Consider the impact of the Millennium Development Goals and the lessons learned from their implementation
Review some of the areas in which the Millennium Development Goals were deficient
Look ahead to the implementation of the United Nations Post 2015 Development Agenda and Canada’s role.

2012 Global Health in the Shifting World Economy

CSIH hosted the 19th annual Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH) in Ottawa from October 21-23, 2012. This theme, Global Health in the Shifting World Economy, considered the impact of globalization, the enormous economic changes in health funding, models and delivery on the health of the world's citizens,and explored innovative health care delivery systems to address these changes.

2011 Global Health Conference Advancing health equity in the 21st Century

CSIH co-hosted the 2011 Global Health Conference in Montreal November 13-15, 2011 with the Consortium of Universities for Global Health and the Global Health Education Consortium. This meeting was a success and attracted 1,400 participants.

2010 Canadian Conference on Global Health Global Health: A Humanitarian Crisis?

The 2010 CCGH was held in Ottawa from Sunday, October 31st to Wednesday November 3rd, 2010, provided an opportunity for professionals working in international health, global health and public health to share knowledge and experience, and promote innovation and collaborative action among the 500 participants.

2009 Canadian Conference on Global Health Health Equity: Our Global Responsibility

The 2009 CCGH was held in Ottawa from Sunday, October 25th to Wednesday, October 28th, 2009. The 2009 CCGH attracted more than 600 participants.
