Vivian Yin, MD MPH, is an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia, and specialized in oculoplastic and orbital oncology. After completing her Master in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, she focuses on prevention of avoidable blindness through building local health system capacity and designing system with gender equity in access to care. Her clinical focus is on the treatment of periocular and orbital cancer, specifically the use of targeted therapy. Dr. Yin holds leadership roles on several national and international societies, including the Canadian Ophthalmology society, Seva Canada, and the International Council on Ophthalmology.
