Jeff is a physician who received an MD from Western University and did his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Saskatchewan. In addition, he has an MHSc in medical ethics from the University of Toronto and recently completed his Global Executive MBA at INSEAD University in France. Jeff has a long history of leadership positions and experience and currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Executive Vice President for Global Health at the Canadian Medical Association.
His goal in serving on the inaugural CAGH Board is to get the association off to what he hopes will be a running start as it brings together two groups and works to establish its initial strategic priorities. Jeff would especially love to see how CAGH can start to harness all of the diverse views and skills that the membership possesses.
The mantra that guides Jeff's work is the following: In any relationship, be it individual or organizational, start by asking first what you can do to help the other party achieve their objectives. See them as an end unto themselves, and not as a means to an end.
Jeff speaks English and French.
