Djenana Jalovcic is an accomplished educator, policy advisor, and development expert with over 25 years of international experience in the field of disability, ageing, gender and refugee health. She has extensive hands-on experience of studying, developing, and implementing technology-mediated education, training, and service programs for interprofessional groups of practitioners and clients. Djenana has an excellent track record of successful leadership and management of large-scale inclusive global health and development projects, training, and education programs and policy initiatives in over 15 countries around the world. She has directed and managed over 20 disability-inclusive health, education, and social reform initiatives, with a value of over $30 million in conflict and post-conflict environments and countries in transition. Djenana is a passionate advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities, gender equality, and transformation through knowledge sharing and exchange. Currently, she coordinates Erasmus+ strategic partnership project Persons with Refugee Experience Education Project - Interprofessional, a collaborative project among five European universities and two organizations providing refugee health services.
