Summary: 

In Serbia, the project supported partners in the development of coordinated, harmonized, and inclusive health care policies to improve access to and equity and quality of Primary Health Care (PHC). In Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the overall framework of health care reform, the project focused on health human resources planning and development with special attention on the HHR for PHC. The Project also included regional activities that focused on partnership and coordination, knowledge translation and communication for improved PHC.  Throughout the BPHCPP, five cross cutting themes are addressed with respect to each of the activities: vulnerable groups, public sector competence, private sector, EU accession and gender equality.
